The Multicultural Center has space available for student group meetings and programs as well as four computers for general student use, where students can do their homework, write papers, check their e-mail, and surf the web. There is a small collection of resource materials such as videos of racially/ethnically-themed films, books, and publications (magazines and journals).
The Center hosts a variety of different programs throughout the school year, from academically-oriented presentations to student group meetings to informal social receptions to which everyone is welcome to attend.
The CORES offices (Asian Pacific American Student Organization; Black Student Alliance; Culturas de la Razas Unidas; and North American Indian Student Organization) are also located within the center.

OCAT initiates and coordinates a range of services and programs to positively impact the academic success and quality of life of racial ethnic students at Michigan State University.
The office serves as a support and advocacy network for African American, Asian Pacific American, Chicano/Latino, and Native American Students. The office also assists in the formulation of university policies that affect all students at MSU.

Addressing issues of gender identity and expression across campus is an important priority for the Resource Center. The goal is to collect and provide information about aspects of learning, living and working on campus that are pertinent to the LBGT community.

Provides individual consultation and general assistance for students with disabilities and those working with persons with disabilities. RCPD staff develop and conduct general disability awareness sessions, as well as programs on specific issues for faculty, staff, and students across campus.
The RCPD provides a number of services which allow students with disabilities to compete on an equitable basis with other students pursuing similar academic and career goals. Services include:
• Referrals on accessible transportation for those with physical disabilities
• Alternative reading and learning resources
• Housing and classroom accommodation arrangements
• Coordination of sign-interpreters or notetakers and examination scribes
• Personal care assistant referrals
• Tutorial referrals
• Information on or assistance with admission, orientation, registration, financial aid, and employment
Tower Guard Honorary and Service-Learning volunteers help RCPD provide readers, notetakers, and other assistance to students with disabilities.
