Retirees & Alumni
Alumni
Our office is here to help support all constituents of Michigan State University with their family lives. As Students, you hopefully had the opportunity to take advantage of programs such as Emergency Back-up Childcare, Sick Childcare, Free Pre-finals care, etc. when you were in school. Now as Alumni, our office is here to help you if you are looking for particular resources on or off campus. You are welcome to attend any parenting or eldercare classes that we may be offering as well. Please contact us if you have questions or needs.
Due to the efforts of the group Student Parents on a Mission (SPOM), a scholarship fund was created through the University Development office which SPOM members are welcome to apply for. They must show good academic standing, financial need, and documented volunteer service, as well as write a short essay on why they are deserving of the award. If you would like to donate to this fund, please visit the University Development website. The Alumni Association is available at http://www.msualum.com/.

If you are in need of on or off campus resources for yourself and your family, please contact us! The coordinator, Lori Strom, can meet with you individually regarding any eldercare issues you may be having within your family and help you find the area resources that you need. You are also welcome to attend any classes that we may be offering as well. Please contact us if you have questions or needs.
